While not always necessary for every tattoo design, consultations are preferred for custom pieces and large scale American traditional and Japanese tattoo projects. A consultation gives us the opportunity to discuss in person the design, placement, and pricing.
I typically book 2-3 months out, though time for flash designs may be available sooner.
I am working at Rainbow Demon, a Denver tattoo studio, however I travel often for guest spots and tattoo conventions.

Pricing & Deposits

Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and goes toward the cost of the tattoo at the final sitting.
A deposit is required to secure your tattoo appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your tattoo at the last session.
Deposits are non-refundable, and cancellations will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
For rescheduling requests, deposits can be transferred to a new appointment date if at least 48 hours' notice is provided. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the loss of the deposit, and a new deposit will be required to secure another appointment.
The deposit is meant to hold a specific time slot. When rescheduling, a new date must be selected at the time of rescheduling to honor the original deposit.
Two or more consecutive rescheduling requests will require a new deposit to continue holding your appointment.
Deposits are non-transferable to other individuals or changes to the agreed-upon tattoo design or subject matter.
Pricing depends on size and detail. I offer both hourly rates and flat quotes depending on the project. Large-scale Japanese work and some American traditional pieces typically require multiple sessions. My goal is to price each tattoo fairly and competitively with other Denver tattoo artists.

Minor changes may be possible—just ask!

Eat a good meal, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you are okay with possibly being stained with tattoo pigment and that easily allows access the area being tattooed.
Rainbow Demon Tattoo can often be a very busy shop. Due to space and focus, I ask clients to come alone unless special arrangements are made in advance.
Do not apply any topical numbing products to the area being tattooed before your appointment unless we have discussed prior to your tattoo appointment.

After your tattoo appointment, I’ll send tattoo aftercare instructions via email, but you can also read them in the aftercare section of my website here
Avoid pools, saunas, sun exposure, and tight clothing over the tattoo for at least 2 weeks.
